Coding and Robotics quest

Acton Columbus is a private school where we focus heavily on giving learners opportunity and freedom to learn to learn, learn to do, and learn to be. So much of what we do revolves around project-based learning. It goes beyond textbooks by actually applying what we learn in our core skills.

The past six weeks our Eagles focused on coding and robotics. For 4-5 weeks, our Eagles learned how to code. In the final 1-2 weeks of our session, our learners applied that knowledge to robots. The learners moved robots around the studio. They learned to code the robots to speak and light up. And they did this by using coding tools such as loops.

As we do after every session, we held an exhibition where the Eagles were able to present their work to their parents.

Below are some of the images from the session. For more images and project details, check out our Instagram and Facebook pages.
