Nature Club

Oct 16 - Nov 20 (Wednesdays 3:30p - 4:30p)

Nature is the source of wonder, and the child should be allowed to experience it without any interference.
— Rudolph Steiner (Founder of Waldorf Education)

Session FOcus: Mindfulness

Join Nature Club for a 6-week immersive journey into nature with a special focus on mindfulness! During these weekly sessions, your child will not only explore the beauty of the outdoors but also learn simple, practical techniques to live fully in the present moment. Through mindful practices, they’ll activate their “lantern consciousness”—a state of awareness that allows them to observe the world around them with a calm, open heart and mind.

Research has consistently shown that time spent in nature reduces stress, boosts creativity, enhances focus, and promotes overall well-being. Learners will experience these benefits firsthand as they engage in activities where they’ll capture their observations, feelings, and experiences and the practice of Sitspots—a quiet time spent sitting in nature, observing and reflecting.

Each week, they’ll grow more in tune with the rhythms of the natural world while also building life skills in mindfulness, self-awareness, and emotional resilience. Let them embark on this adventure to connect more deeply with nature and themselves!
