End of session exhibitions give learners a Chance to celebrate and an opportunity to showcase their hard work
Build the Tribe Quest - Oct 2021
Our first session - Build the Tribe - was filled with team building activities, getting started on core skills, working through a bunch of Arts / Crafts / STEM challenges, and figuring out the contractual agreement amongst the Eagles.
On the day prior to our exhibition, we reminisced about our favorite activities and celebrated with some ice cream.
For the first exhibition of the year, our learners were challenged with displaying all the work they had been doing, signing their Eagle contractual agreement, and figuring out other activities to do. They worked really hard to get the place ready with balloons, streamers, games, and other decorations prior to the parents coming in. The contract signing was a big success and we completed the first exhibition exactly as planned!
Exhibitions give learners the opportunity to practice public speaking skills and help cultivate confidence and communication skills.
COding & Robotics - Nov 2021
Our second session was absolutely packed with a lot of activities: coding, creative writing, STEM challenges, celebrations of Diwali and Halloween, and other activities like Yoga and Bhangra.
We continued our ice cream celebration tradition before the exhibition.
The Eagles worked collaboratively to pull together an exhibition that showcased all their work. Each Eagle presented her/his creative story and exhibition board. The Eagles also displayed their STEM project work, demonstrated their coding skills, and found time for another trivia game!
