DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Social Media / Brand Marketing Intern to help us with our marketing strategy and operations. We are looking for a hard working, entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about education, has a willingness to learn, and is a go-getter with the ability to wear many hats.

Our Intern will be responsible for managing and growing our social media pages. During the internship, you would be expected to develop graphics to highlight on the school’s social media pages and website. The Marketing Intern is also expected to raise brand awareness through local marketing. In addition to raising awareness of the new school, our intern would be involved in promoting our Children’s Business Fair (to be held in June 2022) and STEM Club.

JOB TYPE / LOCATION: The hours are flexible and the position is not centrally located.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Entrepreneurial thinker; Independent worker; Passionate about children and education; Deeply curious and ready to learn and work hard; Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills; Experience using social media – especially Facebook and Instagram.

SALARY: This part-time internship is unpaid.
